Amina Buddafly Says Peter Gunz Is Stepping Up

After last season of Love and Hip Hop NY Reunion it appeared that Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly’s marriage was destined for failure.

Well CelebNMusic247.com has learned via MadaMenoire.com that Amina is convinced that Gunz is starting to show some promise as a husband.

He already proved that he is a good father when he’s around with he and Tara Wallace’s boys they share, but we will see what happens after Amina gives birth to his third child.

For now Amina reveals that she’s noticed an improvement in Peter’s husband qualities lately.

Amina says:

“[He’s] good. Getting better. [laughter] Sometimes he’s still just a little work, but I’m seeing some little things that make me hopeful and keep me wanting to be here,” she told Sister 2 Sister.“

Amina also talks about keeping her marriage a secret.

She adds:

“Oh, it was hard,” she confessed. I only had to pretend that when we were shooting—especially that one scene that everyone hates me for. That was definitely difficult because I knew how it was going to look. But that was not something that I had to do on a regular basis. Peter and I were very open, even when he was still with the both of us, before we even started filming. He was very open with me, always out with me, holding hands, always introducing me as his wife when we performed together. I wasn’t feeling like I had to hide.”

Then Peter weighed in on love triangle:

He reveals:

“I knew it was going to all blow up. Part of me was relieved. Like, alright, it’s going to be out there. Once I signed on to do the show, I’m dealing with the bulls#!t with Amina that’s going on, I’m dealing with the s#!t that’s going on with Tara. And then I know it’s going up on VH1. That’s what kills me with people [who say] “Oh, he’s a sneak.” Oh, no, I’m doing this because I’m not [a sneak]. It’s coming out. I’m on TV and your husband ain’t. Your boyfriend ain’t. And your fiancé ain’t. The only difference between me and them is I’m on TV because last I looked at the statistics, 85 percent of men [cheat] and they’re not getting married with somebody else. So that kills me when people throw stones at me like that.”

Do you feel Peter Gunz has actually changed?
