Anna Kendrick Fear Keeps Her Working!

Anna Kendrick covers the December issue of Marie Claire in an interest and awkward new article that touches on Anna Kendrick Fear Keeps Her Working!

Who would have thought Bella’s annoyed best friend, Jessica, in the Twilight saga would sore so high?

Kendrick talks about the fear of wolves at your feet and being middle class is what keeps her working, because the fear of NOT being able to pay the rent is always there.

She quickly climbed the celebrity ladder to superstar after being nominated for an Oscar from her supporting role in Up In The Air. From there she was “going-movie-to-movie-to-movie” and now Anna just wants a break.

She already has five films set to release like her role as Cinderella in Into the Woods that comes out Christmas Day, Get A Job (has no release date yet), Pitche Perfect 2 (releases on May 15, 2015), The Hollars (has no release date yet) and Digging for Fire (has no release date yet). That’s not all Kendrick also is currently filming Mr. Right and is doing the voice of Poppy for the 2016 animated film Trolls.

You might say she’s has a lot on her plate, but now the actress just wants a break but it’s her fear that keeps her on the grind.

Anna speaks on her upcoming role as Cinderella in Into the Woods to Marie Claire, saying:

“The character is thoughtful and complicated. You see what happens after she marries the prince, when you start to face problems in seemingly perfect situations. The interesting thing about her is she overthinks things, she’s uncertain – we don’t see that in most versions. In a lot of ways, I think it’s this incredibly brave story. She’s neglected and abused her entire life she finally gets love and it’s not the kind of love she was looking for, and she stands up for herself.”

However, she feels that she indeed needs a break, saying:

“The whole going-movie-to-movie-to-movie thing, I’ve been living that way for three years. Like I need to be a person and, you know, maintain relationships.”

It’s been like this since her 2010 Oscar nomination. She explained:

“It was insane. Like really groovy and exciting. [But] there was a lot of ‘Why me?’—that sort of thing.”

When it comes to people scrutinizing her looks, Anna says, “The most common thing that I get is, ‘Am I the only one who doesn’t think that Anna Kendrick is pretty?’ And you’re like, ‘No, you’re not the only one. Arguably, all of the boys in my high school agree with you.’”

But why does she keep working so hard and NEVER taking a break?

Anna explains that “mostly it’s the fear that the wolves are always at your heels and you’re going to be tossed out into the street. If you grow up middle class, you just always feel like you’ve got to be working, because otherwise you won’t be able to pay the rent.”
