The 85th annual Academy Awards played host to a “Chicago,” “Dreamgirls” and this year nominee “Les Miseralbles” reunion on Sunday evening.

Catherine Zeta-Jones kicked off the Musical Tribute belting out a wonderful performance from the Musical Chicago which she starred in with Queen Latifah, Richard Gere, Renee Zellweger.

Released in 2002, “Chicago” won six Oscars at the 2003 Academy Awards, including Best Supporting Actress for Zeta-Jones, Best Art Direction, and Best Film Editing.

Then, Jennifer Hudson, wowed everyone at the Dolby Theater when she performed the song And I Am Telling You I Am Not Going from the film during Sunday night’s Academy Awards.

The 31-year-old received a standing ovation after she belted out the emotional love song during a tribute to the movie musical genre during the ceremony.

She won an Oscar in 2007 for her heartrending performance in the musical Dreamgirls.

Lastly, the Oscars to bring together the cast of the hit musical Les Miserables, giving members the chance to sing onstage as a group for the first time.

And there will be no lip syncing. Just like the best-picture-nominated movie, the cast is singing live
