(CelebNMusic247) Dame Dash Supports Drake’s Aaliyah Album.
Dame Dash is Aaliyah’s ex-boyfriend, the two were very serious at the time of her death and the reason Aaliyah was adamant to fly to Florida 1 day early was so she could spend time with Dame.
Dame and Aaliyah looked great together as they both complemented each other. I always thought she made Dame a better man.
Unfortunetly, the ill-fated plane was overloaded with make-up kits, wardrobe and one too many pasangers.
After Aaliyah untimely death, Dame took it very hard as well as Missy and Timbaland. Other personal friends of mine were lost in the crash that day as well and Aaliyah. I too was heart-broken.
Now, Drake, who is a huge Aaliyah fan is doing a posthumous album with the R&B Princess and Damon Dash has come forth to put his stamp of approval on the project.
Damon has offered his blessing to the posthumous project that will be released featuring Drake as executive producer.
Damon Dash explains:
“Anytime I can hear her voice, that’s a good thing. And anyone that respected her enough to make a record with her, I appreciate ya’ll.”
“I haven’t heard the record, but I appreciate the art of it. I love hearing her voice. I hope it’s something that I haven’t heard before.”
He adds:
“That’s interesting. I didn’t know that.”
“It depends on how he [Drake] wants me to help. I don’t know what I could bring to the table there, but yeah I would do it. Anything involving Aaliyah and it’s positive and the energy [is] right with it, I would be a part of it. My love for Aaliyah will never change.”
