Disney Parks Getting New Star Wars Attractions!!!

Ok Disney finatics, if you love Disneyland and Disney World we have great news since Disney Parks Getting New Star Wars Attractions.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via a recent Q&A with Variety’s Dealmakers Breakfast, Disney CEO Robert Iger revealed that the parks will be getting new Star Wars attractions.

Here is the tea on the upcoming attractions:

Iger said that the new rides are going to be based on the new film and not in the previous six ones. He said:

“There will be a much larger ‘Star Wars’ presence in our parks globally. But we want to do this big, which takes time, and to do it right.”

This means that the team of Imageneers working on the attractions had to slow down production and wait until Abrams new film to arrive. Regarding this, Iger said that he didn’t want people to see the new film and then be disappointed because the rides wouldn’t feature anything from it.

Iger said:

“I didn’t want someone to say, ‘I just saw the movie and there’s nothing in that movie in this (attraction). We waited to see what this film would have in it.”

He said that this halt will allow the Imagineering team to have a blend of past, present and future films, noting that they now have some notion of what Episode VIII and the standalone films are going to be.
