Dolce & Gabbana Questions Victoria Beckham Fashions
Victoria Beckham is a prminent fashion designerin the fashion industry, but now she is being questioned by Dolce & Gabbana!
CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Dolce & Gabbana feels that Victoria Beckham is a designer “sort of” after coming into the the trade “after many, many, many different things.”
The Italian fashion duo, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana is either giving her hard love or they’re NOT impressed with Beckham’s designing style. In the beginning they listed the former Spice Girl along with high street names like Zara and H&M, but it seems they feel otherwise these days.
While speaking to reporters at the Glamour Of Italian Fashion 1945-2014 event at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, Gabbana openned up and expressed some his opinion on Victoria designing ability.
Gabbana said:
“She’s a friend. She make a good job but… for us, she don’t make the same way like a fashion designer.”
“She become after many, many, many different things. She’s a designer but…”
When asked if he is a fan of Beckham’s designs, Gabbana revealed:
“She’s a fashion designer but it’s another… it’s different. John Galliano is a designer… Alexander McQueen.”
As Dolce put it, “Victoria Beckham, Zara, H&M” were “professional” designers, adding that Italian fashion and British fashion were “completely different”.
Dolce said bluntly:
“[Italian fashion is] more cool, more trendy.”
Gabbana chimmed in and added:
“Vivienne Westwood is one of the most important fashion designers in the world.”
Ouch, that is fashion snobbery or would it be snubbery from the creme of the crop in the fashion industry.
Basically, Dolce & Gabbana are just NOT sold on Victoria Beckham.
