Iggy Azalea Claps Back at Funkmaster Flex

Iggy Azalea repsonds to Funkmaster Flex recent comment when he called her record “trash.”

Funkmaster Flex put a bad taste in songstress Iggy Azalea’s mouth when he expressed his distaste for her record! Flix basically said that her album was “trash,” but Azalea question, why would he play it?

Let’s be real for all those NOT in the know. When you work for a radio station, you have no choice but to play music you may NOT like sometimes. Hot97 pays his bills and if he doesn’t play the music then it could be his job, so CelebNMusic247.com is defending Funkmaster Flex for speaking his mind and giving his opinion of her music. Maybe he doesn’t like it, but he’ll still play it, – it’s business.

However, on the HOT 97’s morning show, Iggy explained the situation to the unknowing hosts.

She said:

“I heard your Funkmaster Flex friend go like psycho.”

“He basically played the record and then was like, ‘I hate that record! Iggy Azalea is trash! And it’s like, well then don’t play the record then.”

She stressed she didn’t have beef with Flex”

“We don’t have beef.”

“I’ve been very nice about it. I’ve never said anything about it besides just now…It got ignored but noted.”

The Aussie rapper later spoke on general criticisms of her music, explaining:

“Everything is subjective. Some things are for you and some things just aren’t for you. I can’t beef at everybody.”

“Some people might not like the way I sound, some people might not like that I rap in an American accent and I’m Australian. Some people might not like that I’m White and they feel the things that I do are stereotypically Black. Some people might not like that they think things I say don’t have substance or I should rap about other things. It’s subjective, some people love that about me, that’s music and that’s art. You can’t beef with everybody.”
