James Bond 24 Villain Rumor NOT True!

Casting is underway for the next Bond movie but it appears that the James Bond 24 Villian Rumor NOT True according to Mark Strong. It’s said Dave Batista will be playing baddy Hinx in 007.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via Mark Strong who spoke to MI6 about the rumor that he would be playing the villain in Bond 24. Word is the rumor was triggered when Strong and Craig posed for a photograph in Austria, one of the locations that the film is heading to.

Strong said:

“Daniel is a very good friend of mine. We’ve known each other for years and he’s a godfather to my eldest child. The reason these rumours came about is because recently we went on a walking tour together in the Atlas Mountains.”

“We took some time off to have some friend time; we hadn’t seen each other for ages. Busy schedules mean you can’t see each other and don’t see your mates for a long time. And we went walking together and someone took a picture and everybody’s come to the conclusion I must be the new bad guy is the new Bond movie!”

Strong added:

“For some reason I played bad guys for a while, for a few years. I don’t quite know what’s happened but now it’s spies! I was a spy in ‘Body of Lies‘, a film I did with Russell Crowe and Leonardo DiCaprio; he was the head of the Jordanian secret service.”

“In ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy‘ I was a spy. In ‘The Imitation Game‘, that’s coming out with Benedict Cumberbatch, I’m a spy. ‘Secret Service’ that I’m doing with Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Firth, I’m another spy. I mean, it’s unbelievable. I don’t know quite what’s happening but there’s a whole spy thing going on.”

Dave Batista Will Be Playing James Bond Baddy Hinx in Upcoming Film:

While Mark Strong has gone on record to dismiss the rumor that he was playing the villain in James Bond 24, CelebNMusic247.com is hearing that Gallaxy of the Guardians star Dave Bautista is taking on the Jaws like villain called Hinx.

A little birdy leaked to us that one of the films casting calls leaked for the role of the villain thanks to the creators of the franchise who wanted to add a more iconic character for the upcoming film like Jaws (played by the late Richard Kiel who recently passed away in September)

Here is the casting call for the upcoming James Bond 24, looking for a Jaws type character like from the Roger Moore era, and Bautista fits the bill:

“We are looking to follow in the tradition of JAWS and ODDJOB in finding an iconic baddy.”

“Hinx (Male, 30 – 45)”

“Ideally over 6? 2?. Hinx is the main henchman/assassin. We are looking for an imposing extremely physically fit actor. He has several fights with Bond and will have to have stunt training. He has to drive. We are looking for someone very unusual, possibly from a sports background.”

“Height: 180cm – 195cm”

We think he would be awesome.
