Jay Z Drops Lawsuit

(CelebNMusic247) Jay Z Drops Lawsuit Against 40/40 Club Chef.

Just two days after news broke that 40/40 Club owner Jay-Z  insane chicken wing lawsuit hit the media, Jay has decided to drop his suit.

Apparently, Jay-Z has nothing to stand on, because Mike Shand out right owns the copyright to his secret spice mix.

Hov has no rights to sue for something he does NOT own!

Mike Shand was hired to overhaul the menu for the luxury sports bar’s $10 million reopening earlier this year, but then left, a source said, “taking the recipes to popular menu items such as chicken wings, forcing the club to sue.”

We were told Shand happily handed over all his recipes — except his secret spice mix. Shand’s lawyer Vik Pawar told us:

“The spice-mix recipe that Mike developed is his own recipe. 40/40 terminated him, then had the audacity to sue him for the recipe.”

But last night, Pawar told us the club had dropped the suit — although the beef might not be quite over. Pawar added:

“We still may sue the club for defamation of character and for the return of his possessions, including his laptop, which the club still has.”

Guess that leaves Jay-Z with chicken egg on his face.

Time to get another chef with a bomb ass recipe.
