Jennifer Lawrence Fears Paparazzi

The 24-year-old Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt 1 star Jennifer Lawrence Fears Paparazzi opening up about her real life terror.

You might say this comes with the territory when you’re a celebrity, but not all celebs can handle superstar fame. JLaw is apparently one of them. After she first appeared in X-Men First Class which she created buzz, but it was Hunger Games that catapulted her to superstar celebrity and with that comes mass paparazzi, stalkers, and crazed fans.

Like Twihards, Hunger Games has it’s fans who love Katniss Everdeen, but the love is sometimes too much and mostly terrifying for JLaw.

She revealed to the Associated Press:

On Saturday, the 24-year-old star of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 revealed her fears about dealing with the paparazzi on a daily basis.

“I knew the paparazzi were going to be a reality in my life.”

“But, I didn’t know that I would feel anxiety every time I open my front door, or that being chased by 10 men you don’t know, or being surrounded, feels invasive and makes me feel scared and gets my adrenaline going every day.”

“You can say, ‘This [invasion of privacy] is part of my job and this is going to be a reality of my life,'” Lawrence added, “but what you don’t expect is how your body and how your emotions are going to react to it. Nobody wants to help us because it seems like, you know, ‘Shut up, millionaires!'”

The Oscar winner has a right to be wary of the media, adding:

“If these laws are going to be in place to protect the press and to protect the paparazzi and to protect the news, then new measures need to be made, because this is an entirely new phenomenon.”

“This didn’t exist 200 years ago. My belief, and it’s something I am going to work very hard on changing and I hope it changes before I die, is to make it illegal to buy, post or shop a photo that’s been obtained illegally. I have photographers that jump my fence…if somebody jumps my fence and takes a picture through my window of me naked, that’s illegal, but the photos can still be everywhere (online) the next day, and that makes no sense!”

We get it, could you imagine being home chillin and looking out your window only to see some stranger smiling and waving at you like your bestie? Then they want a pic. Or could you image walking out your front door and someone standing by your car asking for an autograph or selfie?

Seems harmless, but we all know each of us would hate someone jumping out of the woodwork for a pic. #TooMuch
