Jennifer Lawrence Joins Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight

There is a new rumor floating around Hollywood that Jennifer Lawrence may be joining Quentin Tarantino‘s The Hateful Eight!

According to sources, CelebNMusic247.com is hearing that Lawrence is in talks to team up with Quentin Tarantino for his upcoming film, The Hateful Eight.

We are hearing that Jennifer Lawrence has entered the casting process, but we have also learned that there is only one of the “Hateful Eight” is a female: Daisy Domergue, The Prisoner. Amber Tamblyn and Zoe Bell read the roles of Daisy and Six Horse Judy, respectively, during the live-read of the script, but the official cast for the film has yet to be announced. However, Tarantino did further work on the screenplay after the live-read, so it’s possible that Lawrence is playing one of the two aforementioned roles or someone else entirely.

It will all boil down to a time issue since Lawrence will be working on X-Men Apocalypse, Mockingjay – Part 2 and the lead role in David O. Russell‘s Joy, where she plays the lead role of Joy Mangano, a Long Island native and single mother of three who developed the prototype for the Miracle Mop in 1990.  That movie is set for release on December 25, 2015.

As for, Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight, it too is set fo a 2015 release date, but there is no official date currently. Tarantino’s film is scheduled to begin shooting early next year. The would be an exciting prospect for Lawrence to play a role in a Quentin Tarantino picture.

The current synopsis for The Hateful Eight reads as follows:

The Hateful Eight follows the steadily ratcheting tension that develops after a blizzard diverts a stagecoach from its route, and traps a pitiless and mistrustful group which includes a competing pair of bounty hunters, a renegade Confederate soldier, and a female prisoner in a saloon in the middle of nowhere.

The film is rumored to have the following names already attached including,  Bruce Dern, Kurt Russell, Michael Madsen, James Remar, Walton Goggins, and Samuel L. Jackson.
