Juicy J Sued For Bandz That Make Her Dance!?!

Former Three6Mafia member Juicy J Sued For Bandz That Make Her Dance music video by Mahad Dar and Creative Dream Productions!

CelebNMusic247.com has the details on the news that Photographer Mahad Dar and Creative Dream Productions (CDP) have filed a lawsuit against rapper Juicy J and his record label, Columbia Records for the  “Bandz A Make Her Dance” music video.

According to an exclusive from TheJasmineBrand.com, Dar and CDP are suing over copyright infringement for the video, which they filmed.

In addition to their copyright infringement claim, those behind the lawsuit state that there were a number of occurrences that halted and disrupted filming for the “Bandz A Make Her Dance” music video.

TheJasmineBrand.com reports that CDP secured extras, trailers for artists, and craft services for the video after they were called by Juicy J in August 2012.

CDP later revealed that Lil Wayne, who was to also star in the video, called to cancel. The company assumed the Wayne cancellation meant the whole video shoot was cancelled and in turn informed the venue they secured.

The Young Money rapper did show up, but CDP were ultimately no longer able to use their first venue.

According to Dar, who was the principal photographer for the video, a deal was never made with Columbia Records and despite the lack of a deal the record label still released the “Bandz A Make Her Dance” music video without his permission.

Columbia Records are seeking an injunction against Juicy J from continuing to sell “Bandz A Make Her Dance” and want to directly receive all profits from both the song and the music video.

Juicy J has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit.
