Katt Williams Helped Make Kevin Hart???

Katt Williams, who is best known for his role in the Friday franchise sat down with Bishop Don “Magic” Juan weighed in on Kevin Hart and being behind his success.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned via VladTV that Katt opened up about taking a break from doing stand-up, adopting seven kids, living in trailer and advising Terry Crews to be himself in the Friday films. However, the famed comedian says he understood that someone could step in his place and even says he was the man behind Kevin Hart’s success.

Williams claims that he “told Kevin Hart’s people how to make him Kevin Hart.”

He goes on to say:

“I don’t mind competition, I’m really the greatest of all time. I can build you to fight me boi boi, you don’t want it boi boi. And then he stopped doing stand up and became a television personality.”

Katt contributions to the hip hop community doesn’t stop there as he also claims that he was the man who helped to create “the BET Hip-Hop Awards.” We agree that he may have had a part in it, but there is always more people than just one man behind a movement or an award show.  That is a very bold statement for Katt, but hey that is who he is. He sis speak on working with Steven Hill, the man behind BET, so we believe that part.

Anyways, a new mellow Katt Williams decided to take a different approach when asked about the competition. Instead of going off like he normally does, he didn’t comment on the situation, instead he says he’s not going to throw shade at the competition and is going to support what they’re doing.

As for attending the BET Awards, Katt says not as long as Stephen Hill is president of the network.

Hmm, sounds like there is some bad blood there, but Katt is keeping a professional manor this time.

Watch:

We find it interesting how black comedian’s like Katt Williams and Mike Epps have decided to weigh in on Kevin Hart since he’s had such major success.

One thing that Kevin has done and Mike Epps and Katt Williams has NOT, is that Hart has crossed into world appeal. Like Chris Tucker, Kevin has struck gold and everyone from the USA to China love him. Kevin Hart is the next Chris Tucker, Eddie Murphy, Richard Prior and it seems that they’re weighing in to ride his coattails.

Now before Katt and Mike sound off because they came first – we all know you gotta get in where you fit in, so if Kevin is their ticket back to relevance and onscreen appeal then we say go for it. You’re only as good as your last movie, stand up show, etc…so we say do what you need to do guys because Hollywood is always on to the next, so Kevin has to ride the wave for as long as it lasts and ya’ll need to jump on board if he’ll have you.

We guess all those years Kevin was grinding and doing D list and B list movies just to get his name out there was not because of his talent? We have spoke to Kevin on many accounts and have known since his days at MTV in 2008 and earlier he was going to be huge. We just find all these stories interesting, because why didn’t they talk about Kev while he was on the come up back then? Could it have been because you were all working on your careers at the same time? Choices people, choices!

We are fans of Mike and Katt, but we see why Kevin rose to fame and crossed over. It’s all about style, class and appeal – on and off screen.
