Nicki Minaj is obviously on Young Money president Mack Maine mind, because he had nothing but words of praise and encouragement for labels superstar.
In a recent interview, Maine told MTV that Nicki has proven herself to be bigger than music.
Mack Maine said.
“Nicki’s a brand now.”
“Nicki’s not just an artist, and that’s hard for artists to become a brand. So whatever she wants to do, from the makeup to whatever, the clothing line, ‘American Idol‘… She’s still making great music.”
But Mack was quick to point out that Nicki hasn’t put music aside.
He adds:
“She’s back on the music grind again, so Nicki’s doing everything we can ask and more.”
“She’s perfect.”
