Mission Impossible 5 Gets Creepy New Villain

Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie are teaming up again for MI5 alongside Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames is also going to rejoin the team.

We also know Alec Baldwin and Rebecca Ferguson will show up in Mission: Impossible 5. But CelebNMusic247.com hasn’t heard much about until today is the villain, and now we’re getting word that Paramount has offered that part to Sean Harris (Deliver us From Evil, Prometheus).

Mission: Impossible 5 opens December 25, 2015 going up against Star Wars Episode VII. We’re not sure how smart that is since JJ Abrhams Star Wars is highly anticipated and will have the original cast from the 80s in it.

Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have offered the villain role in the Christopher McQuarrie-directed Mission: Impossible 5 to Sean Harris. They are negotiating, though I’m being told don’t dress for it just yet. The Troika-repped British actor is best known for his work in The Borgias, and for such films as Ridley Scott’s Prometheus, 24 Hour Party People and Red Riding Trilogy.

The Mission: Impossible franchise isn’t really known for its great villains, for the exceptions of  Philip Seymour Hoffman. However, would be nice to see someone suitably menacing fill that void for MI5 and Sean Harris will be an excellent fit.
