NeNe Leakes DUBS Cynthia Bailey A Sellout

When it comes to Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship we guess the words of the late Freddie Mercury of Queen, song “Another One Bites The Dust” fits the situation!

During the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show NeNe Leakes called out Cynthia Bailey ad a “sell out personality” and a “flip flopper.”

CelebNMusic247.com reports that Leakes held nothing back on her Bravo blog today after she claims that she felt “blindsided” by how Cynthia got angry again six months after the “bitch” incident once the episode aired.

If you’ve been watching RHOA then you’ll remember that NeNe called Cynthia’s husband Peter Thomas out for acting like a “bitch” expressing how upset he was by NeNe’s own bitchy behavior at a Kenya Moore fundraiser honoring her! Later on the Mexico trip Peter Clapped Back at NeNe and once again got into a HEATED debate with her husband Gregg Leakes.

NeNe apologized on camera and off at the time it happened. She said she and Cynthia were fine until the Twitterverse got on Cynthia’s case for being too nice to NeNe for her “bitch” comment.

Yesterday, NeNe released this statement on Cynthia and her disappointment that their friendship has come to an end.

Leakes writes:

As hopeful as I was for us to be life-long friends, I am not surprised our friendship has ended and it truly saddens me! Reality friendships never last anyway so how foolish was I to think I had made something special! It’s amazing what people are willing to do for the love of money, relevancy and to stay on TV! With Cynthia’s sell out personality and blow-with-the-wind persona I knew it was only a matter of time!

It’s always the ones that are the closet to you that will turn on you! I was totally blindsided by all this! Yes I called Peter the B-word in early October of last year and I have apologized numerous times for it! Cynthia and Peter accepted my apology and we simply moved on! Yes moved on to talking, traveling and texting several times a day as we always did! The four of us went to dinner, Cynthia hosted my curvy girl Model Call at Bar One and Peter was there to help us out. They were at the hospital with me, they spent Thanksgiving at my home, we celebrated the New Years together in Vegas, we were hanging out together during fashion week! She attended the Red Dress Heart Truth fashion show with me and Michael Costello’s fashion show, we celebrated her birthday early in NYC with a fun brunch at Lavo!

When the episode aired for all to see and the Twitterverse had their say, I guess she changed her mind and decided she needed to be mad nearly six months later! WOW! Who gets mad six months later? I know you tryin to pull the sympathy card but if you were such a good friend, why didn’t you pull me aside and talk to me about how you were feeling instead of dicing our friendship up in front of a bunch of people who don’t care! Surely I am worthy of that considering I have carried you on my back! I can admit when something hurts the same way I can apologize when I am wrong but hey who cares about a stupid friendship when you need to secure another season on the show! The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from the enemy!

For the record I don’t hate you! I just hate that you turned into everything you said you would never be! Good bye friend!

PS: If you or anyone else thinks the demise of our friendship is your storyline for season 7, think again flip-flopper!

Cynthia is still holding strong that NeNe wasn’t giving her proper respect, but let’s be real Bailey allowed that to happen. She could still be friends with NeNe, except she needs to put her foot down when she disagrees with her former friend and stop being such a push over. #lapdog

While NeNe herself posted on her blog entry noted, “I had carried you on my back!” She continues to say that Cynthia’s critique as a betrayal of their friendship. She said this could have been straightened out behind the scenes, not in front of the cameras. “It’s always the ones that are the closet to you that will turn on you!” NeNe wrote.

So for her, it’s “good bye friend.”

While Cynthia responds in a statement to Uptown magazine, expressing that she was angry at first by NeNe’s “spiteful and malevolent” comments saying she should be off the show.

“How could someone who I considered a really good friend attempt to essentially sabotage my job? I would never do anything that wasn’t in the best interest of her family. She’d rather see me off the show than to work with me and give me pure hell next season. Even Andy Cohen seemed shocked and surprised by what she was saying.”
