Party Down South Producers Warn Ex Star Lil Bit!!!

Former Party Down South star Taylor ‘Lil Bit’ Wright may NOT be getting her spin off series since Party Down South Producers Warn Ex Star Lil Bit a cease and desist letter over Lil’ Bit moniker.

CelebNMusic247.com has learned that CMT’s Party Down South is claiming that they helped turn her into a brand and now a dispute with her old bosses could keep Taylor ‘Lil Bit’ Wright from continuing to use her famous nickname. See, Taylor, who has still not spoken to any of her castmates has been using the moniker, ‘Lil Bit’ to promote a new line of moisturizing lotions and suntan lotions, which she’s calling ‘Lil’ Bit Country.’

Here is what we are hearing about the feud between Lil’ Bit and CMT producers of her former reality show, aren’t happy with her using the name that was made famous on the show via TMZ.

Viacom reportedly sent Wright a cease and desist letter, demanding she stop using the name because they claim to own her ‘Lil’ Bit’ moniker. However, sources reportedly close to the former reality star told the website that she has no plans to stop using the name, or to stop marketing the lotions, as she maintains that she has been using that handle on her name since long before the show.

Tiffany, Lauren & Mattie Forced To Defend Themselves Against Plastic Surgery Rumors

It’s unclear how the situation will be resolved.

Wright announced she was quitting the show back in August, citing safety reasons that she felt were complicating her religious views as well. After fans reacted negatively to the news, she took to her Twitter account to defend her actions.

“…do ya ever wonder if there’s something I see y’all don’t see??? #dontjudgeme #idowhatsbestforme #judgementcall #likemeornot,” she tweeted at the time.

To recap:

Season 2 saw what seemed to be endless drama surrounding Lil’ Bit and fellow cast member Ryan ‘Daddy’ Richards, who hooked up between shooting their first and second season. After announcing she had a new boyfriend named Grant when she arrived at the Athens, Ga. house, the tension between her and Daddy increased. The other roommates-Mattie Breaux, Tiffany Heinen, Lauren White, Walt Windham, Lyle Boudreaux and Josh Murray-also all became involved in the drama. The season ended with Lil’ Bit and Grant breaking up and she and Daddy appearing to begin a romance.

On the Afterparty show however, Daddy admitted that the relationship had fizzled out quickly.

“We left the show and she bought me a plane ticket, and I went to her house for a few days,” he said during the episode. “I just looked at her and I was like ‘Oh my god, what just happened.’ I knew that once we had to relive this, we were gonna hate each other, so it was just best to end it right there.”

Season 3 of the show is set to return without Wright in January 2015, though CMT has not announced a specific start date.
