Robert Downey Jr.: There’s No Talks For a Iron Man 4

Talk about killing a dream, but according to Robert Downey Jr.: There’s No Talks For a Iron Man 4. Yes, Robert Downey Jr. has shot down speculation of a fourth “Iron Man” movie.

CelebNMusic247.com has heard in a new interview with Variety that Robert Downey Jr. has shutdown any speculation for another Iron Man installment.

While Downey was promoting his new film “The Judge,” in Toronto he revealed that he is signed with Marvel and Disney for two “Avengers” sequels, which hit theaters summer 2015 and 2018. As for, another follow up to Iron Man 3, he has been reluctant to commit to any more superhero films.

Either Downey is staying tight-lipped about the future of Iron Man films or he is telling the truth, saying:

“There isn’t one in the pipe.”

“No, there’s no plan for a fourth ‘Iron Man.’”

When asked if he would “let” somebody else play Tony Stark, Downey laughed off the idea.

Robert said:

“I like that the idea is that it would be up to me, like I’m casting director for Marvel.”

While his “Judge” costar Robert Duvall advised:

“Don’t give it to anybody else.”

Downey then joked the possibility of “The Judge” being a trilogy

He joked:

“Maybe it’ll be trilogy, like that other series he was in.”

“I heard two of those were good.”

We hope that he is smart and does what Duvall advised. See old time actors get it, if you have an opportunity that keeps you working you stay with it, because that will bring in more work along the way.

“The Avengers: Age of Ultron” recently wrapped filming in the U.K. with director Joss Whedon and original cast members of the box office sensation. It opens May 1, 2015.
