Robin Williams Families Release Statements

Robin Williams Families Release Statements!

This has obviously been a very hard week for Robin Williams children, but today Zak, Cody, and Zelda share their official statements about their Father’s death.

After Zelda posted a touching tribute to her father on Twitter Monday night, the entire family is speaking up about what Robin meant to them in their own official statements, CelebNMusic247.com has learned.

Robin’s death has shocked us all and broken our hearts, but his family is devastated and they’ve been posting their heartbreaking messages which can only touch the surface of expressing how much they loved their father.

Robin Williams Families Release Statements read as follows:

31-year-old Zak said:

“Yesterday, I lost my father and a best friend and the world got a little grayer.”

He added:

“I will carry his heart with me every day. I would ask those that loved him to remember him by being as gentle, kind, and generous as he would be. Seek to bring joy to the world as he sought.”

While Robin’s 23-year-old son, Cody states:

“There are no words strong enough to describe the love and respect I have for my father. The world will never be the same without him.”

“I will miss him and take him with me everywhere I go for the rest of my life, and will look forward, forever, to the moment when I get to see him again.”

Zelda issued a much longer statement, after asking fans to donate to St. Jude’s in memory of her father earlier on Tuesday.

She writes:

“While I’ll never, ever understand how he could be loved so deeply and not find it in his heart to stay, there’s minor comfort in knowing our grief and loss, in some small way, is shared with millions.”

Her tearful statement goes on to say:

“It doesn’t help the pain, but at least it’s a burden countless others now know we carry, and so many have offered to help lighten the load. Thank you for that.”

In addition to the children, Robin’s second wife, Marsha Garces Williams, also offered up a statement about her late husband.

Marsha Garces Williams writes:

“My heart is split wide open and scattered all over the planet with with all of you.”

“Please remember the gentle, loving, generous — and yes, brilliant and funny — man that was Robin Williams. My arms are wrapped around our children as we attempt to grapple with celebrating the man we love, while dealing with this immeasurable loss.”

Robin’s death is an “immeasurable loss” to all of us.

RIP sir, we will remember your gift that made us laugh and the smile the lifted our grey days. May God Bless you sir. We are happy to have met you and known you for a brief moment we both shared in our life. You always had us laughing. Remembering our Sonoma days at Movie Merchants and at the studios in Hollywood.
