Teresa and Joe Giudice Plead Guilty to Fraud

Thing has gotten REAL for the Realhousewives of New Jersey couple who plead guilty to fraud charges in a New Jersey courthouse earlier this morning.

The RHONJ couple were all decked out like they were on their way to a fine dining restaraunt than a plea deal.  CelebNMusic247.com has learned that Teresa and Joe Giudice pleaded guilty Tuesday to fraud charges that could land both behind bars — which will likely lead to husband Joe Giudice’s deportation.

Teresa and Joe Giudice entered pleas to bankruptcy fraud, mail fraud and other charges in Newark Federal Court.

Wow, doesn’t this sound all too familiar since Apollo Nida has similar legal problems after being charged with identity theft and bank fraud for phony business. And Apollo’s wife Phaedra Parks got pulled into the melee because ATLPD believe she may helped cover it up or possibly cooked the books like Alicia DiMichele of Mob Wives. Alicia was hit hard with embezzlement and has been ordered to pay back all monies owed and serve time, but she is still waiting for her sentencing which is set for March 9th, 2014.  Alicia is hoping for house arrest and so is CelebNmusic247.com – she doesn’t deserve to be charged – it was all Eddie’s fault.

What a tangled web reality TV Housewives have woven for themselves?

Maybe Bravo and VH1 should team up and start a new reality TV series called “Ex-Con Wives” since they already have three couples and maybe a forth since NeNe Leakes and Greg Leakes seem to have a criminal past as well.

Anyways, Teresa Giudice faces a possible sentence of up to 27 months in prison and Joe Giudice could be jailed for up to 46 months. The Garden State duo was charged in a 41-count indictment of various crooked financial dealings, including lying to banks and hiding assets and money during a two-year bankruptcy proceedings. However, CelebNMusic247.com has learned via NY Daily News that Teresa also agreed to pay $200,000 to the government at the time of her sentencing.

Teresa intends to continue with her part when Real Housewives of New Jersey when the reality TV begins shooting its sixth season this year, according to Klingeman.

The Giudice’s lawyer, Henry Klingeman, read a statement on Teresa’s behalf after their departure, saying:

“Today, I took responsibility for a series of mistakes I made several years ago.”

“I am heartbroken that this is affecting my family — especially my four young daughters, who mean more to me than anything in the world.”

Teresa Giudice, 41, one of the title women in the popular Bravo reality show program, entered a guilty plea to four counts.

The couple were tight lipped on the way into court earlier today on a icy cold Newark morning.

As for a sentencing date, according to Federal Judge Esther Salas  set the date for July 8, 2014.

Joe Giudice Facing Deportation to Italy?

While Teresa Giudice sentencing is severe, her husband Joe Giudice is seeing harsh times ahead if things don’t lighten up a little.

See Joe is an Italian citizen and with that simple fact the 43 year old Real Housewives of New Jersey husband is possibley facing deportation to his homeland of Italy. The only problem is Joe would spend his last days in the US behind bars first and then when his stint in prison is over he would be shipped off to Italy.

After serving his time with other real life mobsters, Joe Giudice will face another hearing that will “likely result in … your being removed from the United States,” said Federal Judge Esther Salas in accepting the pleas.

The Towaco, N.J. husband pleaded to five counts, including a failure to file income taxes. He was accused with skipping out on his tax returns for four years.

Mr Giudice has already admitted avoiding income taxes on nearly $1 million between 2004 and 2008 — and his wife will also forfeit additional cash in an amount determined by the judge. However, U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman says, “Having now confessed their wrongdoing, the Giudices face the real cost of their criminal conduct.”

While his wife Teresa will be sentenced on July 8th, 2014 – Joe sentencing term will follow hers.

Why are the being sentenced separately?

Officials are thinking of their four children thankfully (Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Miliani, 8, and Audriana, 4) so their jail terms could be staggered to keep one parent at home with the kids while the other is behind bars.

The pair was scheduled to face trial on the charges beginning next month.
