Vans Warp Tour: Must See Bands

The Vans Warp Tour 2014 has been ripping though city after city with an explosive lineup of over 75+ bands at each show and we have a few MUST SEE bands to checkout!

If you’re heading out to Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View to see the Vans Warp Tour then make sure to check out these bands today:

Lionize – Hailing from Silver Spring, MD new album JETPACK SOUNDTRACK on Weathermaker Music, the label owned and operated by Maryland rock group Clutch. Co-produced by Jean-Paul Gaster, drummer of Clutch, and Machine (Fall Out BoyLamb of GodKing Crimson) at the Machine Shop in Belleville, NJ, the album finds the group creating an 11-song journey through their multi-faceted musical influences—spanning heavy rock, soul and blues–such as Deep Purple, O. V. Wright, Led Zeppelin and Solomon Burke. The album’s first single “Reality Check” showcases LIONIZE’s precise musicianship; they smoothly shift gears and smack you with a gargantuan hook at an exhilarating pace.

Kingdom Of Giants – is a metal/hardcore band from Sacramento consisting of 5 members from all different backgrounds, with 1 thing in common: they all love making music together. They keep it heavy, They keep it clean, They keep it dirty. KOG status.

Beebs And Her Money Makers – With the kazoo-wielding songstress Beebs as their fearless leader, BaHMM is taking audiences by surprise with their high-energy performances, sassy songs and refreshing blend of psychedelic ska, funk and soul. The band has toured with ska/punk legends Reel Big Fish and Goldfinger and has shared stages with the likes of Willie Nelson, Donovan Frankenreiter, Dirty Heads, Pepper, Cypress Hill, The Original Wailers, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy and many others.

Courage My Love – The Kitchener, Canada band consists of twin sisters Mercedes Arn-Horn (vocals, guitar) and Phoenix Arn-Horn (drums. vocals) with their friend Brandon Lockwood (bass). Call them a power trio, pop-punk, alternative metal. As you wish. They grew up on it all. But while you are jumping around and banging your head with abandon, don’t miss the message: They have no appetite for destruction. They do not seek to destroy. No, Courage My Love is here to uplift, inspire.

Crown The Empire – Armed with The Fallout, the band’s recent full-length debut, Crown The Empire are bringing a high-energy, visually stimulating and thematically engaging side to post-hardcore, that’s already created a massive buzz for the still-embryonic outfit. Set amid a charred post-apocalyptic landscape, listening to The Fallout is an unforgettable excursion into the imaginations of its makers.

Cursed Sails – is the new project of former Woe Is Me members Ben and Corey Farris (along with bandmates Omar Magana and Brent Guistwite). “Rotten Society” was released on May 13 via Velocity/Rise Records.

Issues – “Never Lose Your Flames”:

Secrets – Hailing from sunny San Diego, CA, SECRETS has already made an impact as one of the most promising up and coming acts in the scene. Armed with irresistibly catchy choruses, soaring vocals, and mercilessly dynamic breakdowns, its no wonder the post-hardcore five-piece has seen such success since signing to Velocity/Rise Records in the spring of 2011.

The Devil Wears Prada – is the musical embodiment of a generational shift. Built on a diverse array of heavy, dark, melodic and genre-defying music; hardened and sharpened by putting in road work together since the days when they had to skip class to tour: The Devil Wears Prada is at the forefront of a movement that bridges the gap between Rockstar Mayhem and the Vans Warped Tour.

Volumes – Rhythmic, Groove, Technical, Brutal, Captivating, Face Melting are all adjectives that do not even come close to touching the tip of the iceberg when it comes to describing the sound, image and movement exploding right now out of Southern California. The source of this decibel shattering, mind-numbing, captivating phenomenon? Los Angeles metal outfit, VOLUMES.
